TECHNICAL WRITERS (Offshore Oil and Gas)
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with R&D team to write manuals for the software products
- Will also provide technical formatting/editing during the development of the manual
- Manage and lead a team of 3 writers and other junior staff
- Must be able to simplify and construct complex instructions and information for international users
The nature of our Client's business
Our client is a well-known company, which provides solution to the oil and gas/petrochemical industry. They operate in various countries in South East Asia.
Skills and experience required:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any relevant discipline
- Familiar with P&IDs and the industry standard specifications and abbreviations
- Must be familiar with the terminology used in design, operation and maintenance
- 5 years experience in oil and gas/petrochemical industry
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Good PC skills
