Hiring : Senior QA Engineer - Singapore

Job Description/Responsibilities
Reporting to the Senior Manager of QA, the successful candidate will be part of an exciting and energetic team responsible for testing and validating the functionalities and performance of Savi's software products in accordance with the product requirements and specifications.
The candidate will be responsible for the following:
• Design and develop reusable and maintainable test procedures and cases, with associated test data
• Conduct Functional, System and Integrated tests.
• Document and present all findings, and track defects resolution and progress.
• Participate in ongoing product analysis and reviews
• Implement the test processes and provide the necessary inputs to improve processes.
• Provide weekly/monthly status reports.
Requirements
• Diploma/Degree/MSc. in Computer Science/Computer Systems Engineering or related disciplines
• Minimum 4 years' experience in Software Testing of Web (J2EE), Desktop and/or Handheld applications.
• Hands-on experience in performing different kinds of tests (stress, performance, stability, functional, interface/integration, sanity, regression) to ensure that the software products are working per design and requirements.
• Experience with Web Services/SOA, data migration, clustering and/or 3rd-party integration testing would be an added advantage
• Working experience in Mercury's TestDirector and practical knowledge of automated and performance testing tools (WinRunner/QTP/LoadRunner) would be an added advantage.
• Experience with various application servers (Weblogic, JBoss, Websphere), LDAP, Oracle RDBMS would be an added advantage.
• Domain knowledge of Supply Chain Management and RFID would be an added advantage.
• Able to work independently and possess good troubleshooting and problem solving skill.
• Good written and oral communications skills in English.
• Pro-active, analytical, meticulous and resourceful, and a good team player.
• Positive working attitude.

Duration: 6 months to perm
Salary: negotiable
